Education
Dan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Journalism from the University of Connecticut in 2013, followed by a Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Grand Canyon University in 2017. He spent nearly a decade working in medical education, coordinating residency and fellowship programs across Arizona and Oregon. Seeking a more direct role in patient care, Dan pursued physical therapy and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado in 2025. He plans to continue advancing his clinical expertise through specialty certifications in orthopedic care.

Speciality
Dan treats a diverse patient population with orthopedic, neurologic, and vestibular conditions. He considers himself a generalist clinician with particular interests in chronic pain, neck pain, post-operative rehabilitation, individuals with oncological conditions, and geriatric care. Dan is also trained in Functional Dry Needling and incorporates it as an adjunct treatment modality when appropriate.

Philosophy
Dan believes in a collaborative approach to physical therapy that emphasizes patient autonomy and active participation in care decisions. He treats the whole person by focusing on helping his patients understand how lifestyle choices, movement, and mindset influence recovery and overall health. By fostering independence and confidence, Dan equips patients with the tools they need to manage their health and maintain long-term function beyond the clinic.

Life
Dan grew up in Massachusetts and has since lived throughout New England, Arizona, and Oregon before he and his wife settled in Colorado. In his free time, he enjoys rock climbing, snowshoeing, hiking, and traveling. An avid NBA fan, Dan is always happy to strike up a conversation about basketball.
