Education
Ashley earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saint Leo University in 2017 and then went on to work as a mental health case manager. This role allowed her to further develop strong interpersonal and advocacy skills—particularly within underserved communities. While becoming a physical therapist was always her goal, Ashley’s early career in mental health further supported her perspective on holistic, compassionate care. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Shenandoah University in 2023 where she participated in diverse fieldwork experiences including at military bases, with adaptive sports, in hospital settings, and in outpatient clinics.

Specialty
Ashley loves working with all walks of life, however, she has a special interest in working with those who have acute, chronic, and progressive neurologic concerns. She is especially passionate about treating people with Parkinson Disease and is a published author in the Journal of Physical Therapy Reviews on the topic of how physical therapy can prevent disease progression. Ashley has also had extensive training in treating individuals with dizziness and has earned a certificate in vestibular rehab. Dizziness is often overlooked and misunderstood and Ashley is skilled in improving symptoms so that you can continue to live your most full life without avoiding triggering movements/positions. Assisting individuals return to full function after a stroke or brain injury is another one of Ashley's passions. Her background in an acute rehabilitation hospital has given Ashley the foundation to work with individuals who are relearning how to walk, working on coordination, strength, and balance in order to be as active and independent as possible.

Philosophy
Ashley's philosophy of care centers around the idea that every person has the potential to heal, grow stronger, and take control of their body through education and empowerment. She treats the whole person—not just the injury—by considering the physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors that influence recovery. Ashley recognizes that progress looks different for everyone and she makes it a priority to meet each patient where they are—adapting to their needs and celebrating every step forward. Her mission is simple: help people move better, feel better, and live more fully.

Life
Originally from Florida, Ashley has also lived in Wisconsin and Virginia before settling in Colorado in 2025. Living in so many places, Ashley has become quite the people person and enjoys meeting new people and fostering meaningful connections. Outside the clinic, Ashley feels most at home in the outdoors— you can find her camping, hiking, rock climbing, skiing, or simply enjoying nature with her husband, friends, and family. Ashley has been an athlete her entire life and was formerly a competitive powerlifter, ran track, was a high school and college cheerleader, and continues to tap dance into her adult life. She also loves to travel, learn about new cultures, and is an avid foodie.
