Shannon received her Bachelor's of Science degree from the University of North Texas in 2011.She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2015. Shannon has taken additional coursework specializing in vestibular disorders, pain neuroscience, joint mobilizations (Mulligan technique), spine (Mckenzie method), and neurological disorders including Parkinson's, ataxia, and dementia. She hopes to further her education with dry needling and certification in Mulligan and Mckenzie methods. 


Shannon worked in hospital based outpatient settings prior to joining Coal Creek PT. She enjoys treating orthopedic, neurologic, and vestibular diagnoses. She has treated a variety of diagnoses over the last 7 years including spine, TMJ, Parkinson's, balance disorders, and most orthopedic conditions.


Shannon believes that quality care is important in achieving a patient's goals. She enjoys collaborating with patients when prescribing exercises so that they can return to their normal daily and recreational activities. She uses a combination of manual techniques, exercise prescription, and education to achieve these goals.



Shannon enjoys hiking, camping, and traveling with her husband, daughter, and pup Autumn. She recently moved from Oregon and is excited to explore the Rocky mountains!
