miranda whitley pt, DPT
Miranda is a Colorado native who completed her Bachelor of Art in Studio Arts and Spanish Language and Literature in 2014. As a certified yoga instructor, she also has a passionate interest in movement and the body, and went back to school to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2019 from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
Miranda enjoys working in many areas of outpatient physical therapy practice, including the treatment of orthopedic conditions throughout the body. She is particularly passionate about conditions of the head and neck, including vestibular rehabilitation, concussion, and neck injury. She is also excited to begin treating patients with pelvic health conditions beginning in March 2020.
Miranda treats physical therapy conditions not only within an appropriate medical context, but within the context of each patient's lifestyle and goals. She strives to meet patients wherever they're at in their physical and emotional healing after injury or illness. She prioritizes explaining the evidence-based rationale behind how treatments relate to her patients getting back to living a life they love.
On the weekends you will find Miranda hiking, doing yoga, salsa dancing, traveling with her boyfriend Mischa, or playing beginning ukulele with her friends. She also loves to go to art museums, discuss art, as well as drawing and painting her own creations. She is grateful to have an amazing group of friends in Boulder who she enjoys participating in bookclub and potluck dinners with on a regular basis :)
