Ben received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado. He graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of British Columbia.
Ben believes that delivering high quality health care starts with understanding the unique needs and goals of each patient. He focuses on building strong therapeutic alliances and weaving education throughout all stages of treatment. His goal is that every patient discharges from therapy feeling empowered with the right skills and knowledge to advance their health and well-being. Ben applies a versatile approach to PT, integrating manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular training into treatment. He feels that no matter who you are, movement is integral to identity, and he is passionate about enabling that at all levels of physical ability.
Ben enjoys treating orthopedic conditions throughout the body, and is especially fascinated by the interconnection between pain, restricted movement, and balance impairment. He also is passionate about physical therapy treatment for dizziness and vestibular impairment. Ben has experience in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient physical therapy. He loves to utilize his knowledge of the continuum of physical and neurological recovery to treat acute, chronic, and post-operative conditions.
Ben grew up in Boulder County, and is an avid hiker, skier, snowshoer, rock climber, and biker. He generally loves to get outside and explore. He also enjoys cooking and will gladly swap recipes.
